I would like to invite you and your colleagues to attend the online seminar - Guide to Self-Billed e-Invoice and Important e-Invoice Scenario on August 14, 2026 (Friday) [09:00 ~ 17:00]. Total 7.0 hours online seminar.

This course is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to manage self-billed e-Invoices and navigate critical e-Invoice scenarios following Malaysia’s e-Invoice implementation. With the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) mandating e-Invoice adoption for all taxpayers from August 2024, businesses must now identify which transactions require self-billed e-Invoices and which transactions are exempt from self-billing requirements. To support compliance efforts, this newly introduced course focuses on the practical application of self-billed e-Invoices and the management of critical e-Invoice scenarios commonly encountered by businesses. Participants will gain an understanding of the scope of imported services and digital services tax under the Service Tax Act 2018, which are key areas that may trigger self-billed e-Invoice obligations. The course will also cover the development of an effective staff claims policy and the preparation of a list of common retailers to facilitate proper e-Invoice collection and record-keeping. To enhance practical understanding, the speaker will conduct a live demonstration of the sandbox and walk participants through creating a sample self-billed e-Invoice. E-Invoicing is an ongoing compliance journey, and Malaysia’s e-Invoice framework presents unique challenges, particularly in relation to proof-of-expense requirements through self-billing mechanisms. This workshop aims to provide participants with actionable compliance solutions for self-billed e-Invoice transactions and other critical e-Invoice scenarios within the Malaysian business environment. Recommended for taxpayers who have commenced e-Invoice implementation and are currently operating within the interim relaxation period. In this seminar, we will include a session to discuss the e-Invoice Special Voluntary Disclosure Program, as announced by IRBM on 07/07/2026
